PROSTITUTION INFORMATION CENTER

Home

Covid has left us struggling as a small community organisation to pay our rent, in order to continue our work to promote respect for sex workers & educate people on sex workers’ rights. If you can help out by donating or sharing this message, thanks and love to you.

We are a small foundation without any subsidies. We generate income with our tours, lectures, sales of books and merchandise and donations. Because of COVID-19 we have had to close a lot and we missed a lot of visitors (international students, tourists, researchers, customers, activists, etc.). As a result, we received barely any income this and last year, but our fixes expenses continue. Do you want to help us?

Payment can be done through the above mentioned donation button or Tikkie, or via bank transfer to:  IBAN NL34 ABNA 0458 9406 07 in the name of Stichting PIC in Amsterdam.

This thread is worth your time.

We hear (well, before covid) very similar experiences from sex workers here in Amsterdam, who experienced more exploitation and powerlessness working in what we call 'horeca' (hotels, restaurants, cafés) than as a sex worker behind the windows.

I have a lot of thoughts about my experience leaving the service industry and becoming a sex worker. Warning, this will be a long read
